  • Bob Budniak Please pray for the repose of the soul of Bob Budniak, a family member of Terry Budniak, OSSM, Prioress of the St. Philip Benizi Community in St. Petersburg, Florida. Bob passed away recently after being in hospice care. He devoted his life to the Word of God in the Bible so much so that he was referred to as "Bible Bob." As he writes: "I was diagnosed with prostate cancer last summer and haven't asked my Servite family for prayer! I'm doing so now. Prognosis is good. Don't need another biopsy for now. Also, my mother-in-law has stage 4 lung cancer, however, her infusions seem to be working.   • Unborn Baby Boy Dear Servites,Steven and Glenda Joerger, OSSM, newly Promised members of the St. Juliana of the Eucharist Community in Fullerton, CA are requesting prayers for their niece and her 22 week unborn baby boy who will face some serious health challenges once he is born. As Steven writes:"He has congenital heart disease and other concerns. He'll go straight to Cardiac ICU after birth and will require open heart surgeries at 1 week, 4 months, and 2 years. He'll ultimately need a full heart transplant by 10. He'll also have some immune deficiencies due to missing spleen that will require limited environment and long term preventative treatment. She will be operated on soon and will have chemotherapy treatment indefinitely. She asks for your prayers because it is an aggressive cancer.   • Bro. Chris Moran, OSM   Dear Servites, Your prayers are requested for our brother, Bro. Chris Moran,OSM, former Spiritual Assistant, Salve Regina Community, Fullerton, California.  After confronting many health issues and concerns, Bro. Chris is settling in to a new home.  It is a good, small facility where Bro. Chris can live, have his medical issues monitored well and be near people who will be able to regularly visit him.  Bro. Chris has recovered slowly but surely from his hip surgery, can put weight on his feet and is feeling physically and emotionally better than he has in a long, long time.  Let us pray for our brother, Bro.
