Dear Servites,

Our sisters of the Servite Secular Institute will be gathered for two weeks of prayer, discussion, planning, and election of leadership: April 15-28, 2015, Emmaus Centre, Kent, England. Please pray with them for an outpouring of the Holy Spirit to inspire and guide them during the deliberations, discussions, elections and fellowship.

FACTS REGARDING THE INSTITUTE

Members: 53, of whom 47 have perpetual vows, 6 have temporary vows and 7 are in formation for vowed membership. There are also Associate Members who include men and married people. There are 11 who have made promises of chastity, poverty and obedience according to their state of life, and 4 in formation for associate membership.

Countries: Argentina, Australia, Belgium, Canada, Colombia, France, Germany, Italy, Spain, United Kingdom, and United States.

Activities: In keeping with its secularity, the Institute does not have works of its own.

Members live and work in the world. Many members are now retired but remain active in their parishes and other voluntary work.Houses: The Institute does not own houses.
