Dear Servites,

Please remember in your prayers our Servite brothers and sisters living in Matola, Mozambique. The Prior Provincial of the St. Peregrine OSM Province, Brazil writes:

The Servite friars in the St Peregrine Province, Brasil, are reporting to our brothers and sisters in the Servite Family a serious armed robbery at our priory of St Mary of the Servants, Matola, Mozambique at 8.15pm on 13 March recently. There were 7 or 8 robbers, who confined the community to the refectory and proceeded to take all electronic items (phones and computers), the community’s money and its two vehicles – a 15-seater minibus and an 8-seater van. Thanks be to God the friars and students were unhurt in the attack. Counting on your prayers, may they regain their serenity of daily life and get over this painful episode. There are many robberies in Mozambique these days, causing much fear and insecurity.

Fraternally, fr. Paulo M. Angeloni, prior provincial.

Please prayer for our sisters and brothers in Mozambique. If you wish, please send a message of prayers and support at this time of need. You may send your email to: Fr. Paulo M. Angeloni,OSM, Prior Provincial:
